Wen ZHAO, an independent filmmaker, photographer, and co-founder of TMDKINO Association. She graduated from Jilin University, China, and studied in ESRA’s international program before, now is working as director and director of photography for the documentary “Out of These Wounds, the Moon Will Rise” (ongoing project). She directed and co-produced the short film “I Should Make Use of Water”, the music video “Blue”, and was the director of photography for the short film “The Contest”. Her photographic project “Our New Evolution” won a Gold Award at the Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA). She also worked at the Cannes Film Festival for the marché du film and HAF selected feature “Hani” as the production translator.
